BIOLOGY

The scientific study of life and living organisms, their composition, structure, functions, evolution, and the interactions that sustain life on Earth.

Course Content

Our small-group biology tutoring courses are tailored to support each stage of GCSE learning, ensuring students build confidence and develop the skills they need for success.

Year 9

Build strong foundations through sessions on cell biology, organisation, bioenergetics, and homeostasis. Explore how living systems are structured, how they function, and how the body maintains balance. Each session develops core theory knowledge and essential exam skills — from interpreting data to writing clear, scientific explanations.

Year 10

Sessions dive into ecology, genetics and evolution, biodiversity, infection and immunity, and human health. Discover how life adapts, evolves, and interacts with the environment while sharpening analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Each session builds on earlier content and strengthens confidence in tackling complex theory questions.

Year 11

This stage focuses on revisiting key topics, deepening understanding, and mastering exam technique. Through targeted revision and challenging theory practice, each session refines knowledge and builds the confidence needed for GCSE success.
